WHY THIS COURSE

Find the reason, not just the failed part.

A dryer that runs without heat, overheats or makes noise can have several possible causes. Learn to check the system behind the symptom before choosing a repair.

01

Trace the heat system

Understand electric heating circuits and the gas ignition sequence.

02

Evaluate airflow

See how restrictions affect drying times, temperatures and safety.

03

Diagnose the drive

Learn belt, rollers, idlers, motors and common mechanical symptoms.

04

Work from symptoms

Use service modes, controls and temperature sensing to narrow your checks.

WHO IT'S FOR

A stronger foundation for the next service call.

New repair technicians

Build an organized foundation in dryer operation and diagnostics.

Washer technicians expanding skills

Add dryer heating, airflow and mechanical systems to your service knowledge.

Hands-on technical learners

Study each system and reinforce key concepts with lesson knowledge checks.

Safety: Gas leaks, mains electricity, hot surfaces and moving parts can cause serious injury. If you smell gas, do not operate switches or equipment; leave the area and contact the gas utility or emergency service from outside. This training does not replace supervised practice or local safety requirements.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions before you start?

Does this include gas and electric dryers?

Yes. The course outlines separate heating-system lessons for both types, alongside their shared airflow, drive and control systems.

Will I learn how to handle gas leaks?

The course emphasizes recognizing hazards and stopping unsafe work. Suspected gas leaks require evacuation and qualified emergency or utility assistance, not an experimental startup.

Is this suitable for someone starting out?

The course starts with how the appliance works and progresses to diagnostics. Safe practice and a basic understanding of electrical hazards are important.

How do video lessons and quizzes work?

The Academy learning platform is designed for watching course videos, tracking progress and repeating lesson knowledge checks. Public enrollment is not yet open.

Does completing the course provide a license or income guarantee?

No. This is educational training, not a trade license, professional certification, job placement or income guarantee.

How long will I have access?

Access has no fixed expiration date while the Academy operates its learning platform. This is not a guarantee that the platform will operate forever.
